Yes. Alcove welcomes both service animals and emotional support animals (ESAs) in compliance with all applicable fair housing and disability laws. You are required to disclose and register your service animal or ESA during the application process on Alcove's platform, and provide any required documentation (e.g., a healthcare provider’s letter for ESAs). While landlords may review these requests for approval, they cannot unreasonably deny them solely because a home is listed as not pet-friendly.
Because our homes are fully shared, roommates may offer feedback if concerns arise, and the landlord may strive to address these issues through reasonable accommodations for all parties.
