How Do I access the Property and My Room at the start of my lease?
Your move-in access is shown in your My Alcove Portal. Access is shared automatically on or before the first day of your signed lease.
You may see separate access methods for the property/front door and your bedroom. Some homes use keypad codes, while some access points may use a lockbox, physical key, or other landlord-provided access method. Use the access method shown for your bedroom and the property entrance.
If your home uses physical keys, return all keys or fobs at move-out. Lost or unreturned keys, fobs, parking passes, or access devices may result in move-out charges, including rekey fees where applicable.
If an access code, key, or lockbox is missing or not working on move-in day, submit a support ticket through your Alcove Support Portal or contact Alcove Support. Include whether the issue is with the property/front door, your bedroom, or another access point.
