This policy outlines the guidelines for shared bathroom cleanliness in Alcove Homes.

Helpful Tip: It's always better to obtain housemate agreements in writing or via text, even if it feels awkward. Over a prolonged roommate relationship, it's easy to forget details, however having documentation to refer to can be very helpful!

Clean Floors are clean and free of clothes or discarded items. The countertop and sink are wiped clean and free of personal items, allowing for use. The toilet and shower are clean and sanitary and all trash is properly disposed of. 
 

 

Acceptable Floors are clean and free of clothes or discarded items. The countertops and sink are clean with minimal personal items that are not blocking tenants access. The toilet and shower are clean and ready for use, trash is properly disposed of. 

 

Requires Action Floors are clean, with minimal clothes or discarded items that are not blocking tenants access. The majority of the counter space and sink are clean and free of personal items. The majority of surfaces are clean and available for use, majority of trash is properly disposed of. 

 

Policy Violation Floors are not wiped clean nor free of clothes or discarded items, that are restricting access. The majority of the counter tops and sink are not properly cleaned or free of personal items and are not accessible. Surfaces are not wipes clean nor available for use. 
An abundance of trash or discarded items present. 

 

Enforcement Procedure:
