When will power be turned back on?

Please follow-up with your local energy supplier. Alcove does not manage supplying, maintaining, or fixing power services.

Will Alcove reimburse me for alternate emergency housing?

No. Any housemates requiring emergency housing should start a claim with their renters insurance provider. Additional emergency resources may be provided by local community services such as:

What to do regarding Weather Related Damage to the Property:

Again, safety first. Please do not touch any wires or attempt to move large debris that may have fallen. Once safety is confirmed, please create a support ticket through your My Alcove portal providing details on the damage, including photos. We will immediately escalate to your landlord. Repairs due to weather related damages will not be charged to tenants, assuming that the tenants create and respond to support tickets in a timely and complete manner.

My personal property was damaged in the storm. What do I do?

Photograph and document as much as possible to share with your insurance providers. Depending on the items and their coverage, repairs may be covered by your

  • Other Incidental Insurance

Though Alcove is not responsible or accountable for tenants personal property, we are happy to assist housemates with any documentation and tickets on file, as well as connecting tenants with landlords.
