How does Alcove work with HOA neighborhoods?
The majority of Alcove homes are in HOA neighborhoods. As we do not engage in short term rentals (<3 months), we are able to meet long term HOA leasing requirements. The landlord or property manager should inform Alcove if there is a minimum lease length requirement (e.g 6/9 months)
The landlord is responsible for providing the covenant agreement and making sure there is enough parking (garage, driveways, obtaining passes, or street/ guest/ visitor lots - if allowed)
HOA regulation and rules are passed on to the housemates. If there is an issued fine due to a housemate breaking HOA rules, Alcove is responsible for collecting the cost of the fine from the housemates in order to reimburse the landlord.
