Landlords are required to provide common area furnishing for all homes.
All homes listed on Alcove come with common area furniture only-this includes a couch, a coffee table, and kitchen/dining table. Tenants are always welcome to bring their own common area furniture to add to the home, but we ask that tenants not remove any Alcove/Landlord provided furnishings and keep all common area furniture in the common areas unless agreed upon by everyone in the home as well as the landlord.
Tenants should anticipate bringing their own bedroom furniture, kitchen utensils/tools, bathroom supplies, and outdoor furniture should the home allow. Prior to moving in, Alcove encourages incoming tenants to reach out to their future housemates to coordinate what items can be shared amongst everyone and/or need to be purchased.
