Alcove utilizes payment processing system, Stripe, to collect all rent payments electronically
Alcove accepts rent payments through ACH bank account, credit card, or debit card. Any tenant using a credit or debit card for rent will be charged an additional 2.9% card fee by Stripe on top of your rent payment. Bank account payments are not charged any additional fees.
You can update their payment method any time in the Billing page of your Alcove portal by selecting the top right hand profile icon, and visiting 'Billing'. Alternatively, you can also visit https://alcoverooms.com/billing directly.
If you encounter any difficulties adding your preferred payment method, feel free to contact us at support@alcoverooms.com. Depending on the case, we can provide you with an ACH authorization form to manually complete this process.
Electronic Payments Only
On Alcove, you agree to the electronic payment addendum alongside your lease agreement. All rent payments are handled electronically by Alcove, and is designed to reduce the risk of fraudulent activities by ensuring all transactions are securely processed and easily traceable by both Tenants and Landlord parties. We do not accept cash, paper checks, or money orders for rent payments.
