Instructions on how to change the batteries on your front door lock
Alcove Front Door Keypad Lock:- From time to time, your keyless front door lock may need its batteries replaced. It is the tenant's responsibility to replace batteries when needed. See the steps below for changing batteries.
Low battery warning: The front door lock has a low battery warning indicator (frequent red flashes). If the lock is currently blinking red, the batteries are actually low and need to be replaced. New batteries should be installed within approx. one week.
- The lock requires 4x 'AA' alkaline batteries. To change batteries, open your door and make sure it’s unlocked. Go to the interior assembly of the lock and open the battery cover. Take out old batteries already inside. Next, insert three batteries to complete the replacement. Make sure you’re only using AA alkaline batteries.
