Helpful Tip: It's always better to obtain housemate agreements in writing or via text, even if it feels awkward. Over a prolonged roommate relationship, it's easy to forget details, however having documentation to refer to can be very helpful!

These actions require a discussion and agreement from all housemates. Without consensus, it cannot be done and will be considered a policy/lease violation. |

These actions are considered a violation of Alcove’s housing policy and are subject to the leasing violation policy. |

Enforcement Procedure:
Alcove will make the final determination on the Acceptable Category based on the evidence presented and the severity of the offense. For more information on violation process, evidence required and next steps, please see our Guest Violations Policy.
Tenant liability of guests
- The tenant on the lease is liable for any policy and/or lease term violations, as well as any theft, injury to person, illegal activity or damage to property resulting from their guests' behavior. They must ensure that their guests adhere to the entire roommate agreement requirements during any visit.
- Housemates reserve the right to contact the authorities should any guest or housemate engage in illegal or harmful activity.
