My rent payment was blocked by my bank, what should I do?

Banks or credit cards will proactively protect their customers by blocking possible fraudulent transactions. To resolve this, first call your financial institution to remove the block on Alcove charges moving forward. 

Once all blocks are removed from your account, login to your Alcove portal here, remove your payment method details and re-input the exact same payment method details you were using and save the changes. This action “re-authorizes” the payment method, which will solve future blocks on rent charges.

Once this reauthorization is completed, email support@alcoverooms.com to rerun your payment-tenants will not be able to rerun their previously blocked payment. 

 Any blocked payments that are not resolved in a timely manner will be subject to our late and delinquent rent policy.
